Train Excursions

About Our Excursions

Easily accessible from Toledo and Detroit, SMRS offers passenger train tours between the towns of Clinton and Tecumseh, Michigan. Festivals in both towns draw quite a crowd on the train. Fall Colors in Lenawee County may be viewed as the train winds south from Tecumseh during the month of October aboard our "Fall Color Tours."

The railroad, almost 14 miles long, crosses the River Raisin twice as it winds its way through scenic countryside from Clinton to the Railroad's depot at Raisin Center. SMRS also owns additional track and property beyond this depot on the southern side of the Norfolk Southern main line to Chicago from Detroit, a former Wabash line.
