Farmers Market Special / River Raisin Runner

Join us for a summer train ride to Tecumseh’s Market on Evans! Ride along Lenawee County’s historic rail corridor between the towns of Clinton and Tecumseh. Take in the views over Red Millpond and catch the wildlife along the tracks. Enjoy a 1 hour and 30 minute layover in Downtown Tecumseh to explore, shop, or grab a bite to eat at the farmers market!

Join us for a lazy summer train ride to Downtown Tecumseh! Ride along Michigan’s first branch line between the towns of Clinton and Tecumseh. Experience the sights and sounds of the rails as your traverse rural southeast Michigan. Enjoy a 1 hour and 30 minute layover in Downtown Tecumseh to explore, shop, or grab a bite to eat!

Adults (Ages 16-64): $25

Seniors (Ages 65+): $20

Children (Ages 3-15): $20

Toddlers (Ages 0-2): Free

Private Conrail Caboose (Up to 8 passengers): $200

Private DWP Caboose (Up to 10 passengers): $250

The Farmers Market Special departs select Saturdays in the summer at 10:00am.

The River Raisin Runner departs select Saturdays in the summer at 2:00pm.

Your train ride experience will be around 3 hours in total length. The trip aboard the train is about 45 minutes in each direction with a 1 hour and 30 minute layover in downtown Tecumseh to explore, shop, or grab a bite to eat!

Passengers may also purchase a “split ticket” – departing on the Farmers Market Special and returning on the River Raisin Runner. This ticket is only available as open seating; the private cabooses may not be booked for this option. The Tecumseh layover will be extended to 5 hours and 30 minutes for these passengers, providing extra time to explore all downtown Tecumseh has to offer!

  • Trains operate rain or shine, please dress for the weather.
  •  This train features open seating (with the exception of private cabooses) – you are not guaranteed a seat indoors. First come, first served.
  • No smoking, alcohol, or pets allowed.
  • There are no restrooms aboard the train.
  • Our historic equipment is not handicap accessible.
  • Please arrive at least 20 minutes early.
  • We reserve the right to cancel trips and substitute equipment.
